Our Viknasloðir Trek (Trekking in the Elven Mountains) takes place in the North-East of Iceland while our base is located in the South-West.
Our assistance vehicle which transports the stewardship and your luggage during the trek therefore reaches the northeast by the north in 3 days (via Borgarnes> Akureyri> Lake Myvatn ...) and at the end of the trek returns by the south coast in 3 days too (via Djúpivogur> Jökulsárlón> Vík-í-Mýrdal ...)
So you have the possibility to travel with the driver on the outward and return journeys and even to make the outward and return journey, i.e. the entire tour of the country.

5-6 hours drive (300 km)- 2 hours hike
D8: Vik i Myrdal - Reykjavik
