THE WORLD’S MOST NORTHERN CAPITAL CITY is a friendly small town known for its relaxed young and trendy atmosphere in spite of always possible snowstorms. Your accommodation is close to the city center, just a few minutes walk. Go to one of the many natural hot outdoor pools is a delight. To sit in the large tubs is an easy way to chat and sympathize with friendly Icelanders who all speak English among other languages. You can wander in the colorfull old Reykjavik between the fishing port and Tjörnin lake, discover and visit many art galleries and small quality museums and make interesting and exiting shopping around the 101 area. You can have lunch on the run in countless small places and dine very well in good pizzerias or have “great fusion cuisine “in fancy restaurants, through excellent fish restaurants and sushi bars, take a delicious cappuccino or Italian espresso in really good coffee shops. And in the evening from Thursday evening to Sunday morning until late at night have a drink and listen to good live music by making the rounds of the bars with quiet or electric atmosphere.
